Drawn by the famous cartographer Heinrich Kiepert (1818 – 1899) and published by the Geographisches Institut in Weimar in 1850. Waterways, roads and Roman aqueducts are highlighted in colour and the reliefs are rendered by shading. The graphic scale shows the German mile, the Italian mile and the Roman mile.…
