Rare map of Lombardy showing also Veneto to up to Venice, Liguria, and part of Romagna. The title sits in the upper left corner in a cartouche bearing the place and publisher’s name: “Nurnberg Hoffmani.” Given that the Nuremberg publisher Johannes Hoffman passed away in 1698, it is likely that the map was released by the “Hoffmann Heirs”.
