Frederic Alexianu Hugo d’Alesi, was an artist who specialized in producing ads promoting travel, particularly in the burgeoning railway industry. d’Alesi helped popularize tourism by rail through his vivid depictions of desirable locales. All his works are characterized by luxurious and exotic imagery rendered in rich and diverse palettes.
